IASBの監督及びガバナンスに責任を有しているIFRS財団の評議員は、2015年10月30日、中国（北京）での評議員会を受けて、8名の新たなIFRS諮問会議メンバーの任命と、8名の既存メンバーの再任を確認しました。
本諮問会議は、IFRS財団の評議員及びIASBに対して、戦略的かつ専門的な問題についてアドバイスを行います。本諮問会議は、国際財務報告に影響を及ぼし関心を示す幅広い機関（大学、アナリスト、監査人、投資家、作成者および専門的会計機関、規制者及び基準設定主体を含む）を代表する40名超のメンバーで構成されています。
すべての任命は2016年1月1日より有効であり、3年間の任期となります。また、諮問会議のメンバーに加えて、EC、金融庁及びSECが本会議にオブザーバーとして参加しています。
なお、日本からはみずほ証券の熊谷五郎氏が副議長として、また新日鐵住金株式会社の石原秀威氏がメンバーとして参加しています。
