Meeting with KICPA to exchange views on projects at IAASB
On August 30, 2024, the JICPA held an online meeting with the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants (KICPA) to exchange their views on topics under discussion at International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB). Started with opening remarks by representatives from both sides, followed by presentations by Takehiro Misonoo, chairman of the IAASB Working Group of JICPA, and Sachiko Kai, Board Member of IAASB, all participants discussed matters relating to assurance over sustainability reporting and adoption of ISQM. This meeting was the fourth one following the second and third meetings that were held in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
