The Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA) interviewed the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Chair Mr. Andreas Barckow and IASB Member Ms. Rika Suzuki at the IFRS Foundation Asia-Oceania office in Tokyo on March 15, 2024. In particular, we asked about Exposure Draft Business Combinations－ Disclosures, Goodwill and Impairment published in March 2024 and IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements issued in April 2024.
