PIOB announced new and re-appointed Board members of the IESBA and IAASB

The Public Interest Oversight Board (PIOB) approved appointments and re-appointments to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) and the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), effective 1 January 2024.
Ms. Tomoyo Imura, the Director of Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd. has been appointed from Japan, and is the first female board member other than a certified public accountant in Japan.
