Webinar "Business Combinations under Common Control" co-hosted by JICPA, KICPA and ISCA will take place on April 7th, 2021
The Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA) , the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants (KICPA) ,and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) will co-host a webinar with IASB on the topic of Business Combination under Common Control (BCUCC). The webinar will be held on April 7th, 2021(Time: 4:00pm-5:30pm Seoul/Tokyo; 3:00pm-4:30pm Singapore; 8:00am-9:30am London) via (virtual meeting platform e.g. ZOOM).
Speakers will include IASB Board members, Ms Rika Suzuki and Ms Ann Tarca, and the IASB Technical staffs. together with panellists from JICPA, KICPA and ISCA,the Speakers will discuss the questions of which methods should be applied to BCUCC, how a book-value method should be applied and how the acquisition method should be applied. The webinar will have a Q&A session with the audience.
This webinar will be conducted with the support of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA), the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).
