New Leadership takes office at the 50th JICPA Annual General Assembly

On July 25, 2016, the 50th JICPA Annual General Assembly was held in the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo, and the new leadership for 2016-2019 assumed office. Their terms will last through the annual general assembly in 2019.

 

Ms. Aiko Sekine, the former Deputy President of JICPA, was appointed as the new Chairman and President. She is the first female leader in a history of JICPA. The new leaders will strongly take a series of initiatives to serve the public interest and strengthen the accountancy profession.
