Invitation to GAA Members: Framework-based Understanding of IFRS
JICPA and IFRS Foundation will host a third joint workshop on Framework-based understanding of IFRS on August 24 and 25, 2016, at JICPA headquarters.
This two-day workshop will demonstrate the Framework-based approach to understanding IFRS and will be of particular interest to trainers, advisors and auditors preparing to support those adopting IFRS in Japan. During this interactive workshop, participants will get the opportunity to make the judgements and estimates that are necessary to apply IFRS.
Presenters and facilitators will include, Takatsugu Ochi, IASB board member, Michael Wells, Former Director, IFRS Education Initiative, IASB, Mitsuhiro Takemura, Office Director, Asia-Oceania Office, IASB, and Tatsumi Yamada, Partner, KPMG (formerly IASB board member). It is recommended that participants have sufficient understanding of English and Japanese.
