Exchange meetings with CICPA and KICPA

JICPA’s annual exchange meetings with the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants (KICPA) were held at the JICPA on September 28th and October 7th respectively.

JICPA’s meetings with CICPA and KICPA are held annually to discuss matters related to accounting and auditing in both countries, facilitating mutual understanding between the two institutions.

At the JICPA-CICPA 2010 meeting hosted by JICPA, discussion included such topics as IFRS and clarified ISAs. At the JICPA-KICPA meeting, KICPA’s efforts to introduce issues like proportionate liability rule in Korea were presented, while JICPA presented its registration system for listed company audit firms and some other related issues.
