JICPA assistance for professional development in Mongolia
October 18, 2007
JICPA has participated in a project aimed at improving accounting and auditing in Mongolia, since 2005. The project is run by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). JICPA accepted ten trainees from Mongolia for ten days from September 3rd through 14th, 2007. They mostly studied the accounting and auditing system in Japan, including auditing standards and CPE. This year they have participated in audit practices training for three days, and a computer-assisted audit for one day.
This project was completed this year. We expect that this three years of training will benefit the Mongolian Institute of CPAs.
