JICPA published, on January 15, 2013, Management Advisory Service Research Committee Research Report No. 50, "Management and Disclosure of Global Water Issues by Companies."
Based on the studies on how companies recognize and respond to the global water issues and how they currently disclose related information to their stakeholders, the report provides an insight into how companies can develop ways to address those challenges by employing a useful tool specifically designed to manage water resource issues.
The report mainly aims to assist the members in advisory service by cultivating a better understanding of the current global water issues. And by so doing, it aims to further contribute to companies encountering those issues and to promote adequate disclosure of information by companies.

JICPA published, on January 15, 2013, Management Advisory Service Research Committee Research Report No. 49, “An international case study of integrated reporting.”
In view of the emerging trend of integrated reporting around the world, the report provides case studies on integrated reporting, in a bit to contribute to the discussion and further development of the integrated reporting practice in Japan.
The report contains case studies of 15 companies selected from various regions and industries, and focuses on reporting system of the companies, such as how various media have been employed and coordinated with one another in their reporting, in addition to the main report to their investors. Also, it reveals some distinguishing features of their reporting, in particular reference to the guiding principles and content elements advocated by the International Integrated Reporting Council.
